I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at stunning Bourton Hall, located in the picturesque Shakespeare country, which offers exclusive use of a magnificent Italianate-style mansion and a former Catholic chapel. Surrounded by gardens, woodland, and parkland, the property offers breathtaking views of the Warwickshire countryside that offers incredible photo opportunities.
Wedding Photography
Hello! My name is Eva and I am a professional wedding photographer based in Solihull, Birmingham. I specialize in capturing candid, natural moments during weddings in the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire. My goal is to provide you with a unique and personal wedding experience and to create timeless images that transport you back to the emotions of your special day. I believe that photography has the power to truly capture the beauty and emotion of your wedding day.
Wedding Preparation
Capturing the bride in natural light during the wedding preparations in the Lady Bourton Honeymoon Suite was a true delight. The beautiful dressing room and spacious en-suite bathroom provided an opportunity for beautiful photos. The bride was surrounded by her loved ones, particularly her nieces, who brought a sense of joy and excitement to the room. Additionally, I was able to capture a few portraits of the groom as he greeted guests.
Wedding Ceremony
The couple held the wedding ceremony at the stunning Italian-style catholic chapel, which is part of the venue, at Bourton Hall. As the bride made her way down the grand staircase, it was a special moment to photograph. The groom was patiently waiting for her arrival while joking with seated guests. The couple sealed the ceremony with a loving kiss. On a sunny day, we captured beautiful confetti photos. As a part of Bourton Hall wedding photography, I also took a group photo with all the guests to remember the special day.
Wedding Breakfast and Speeches
I always enjoy bringing the newlyweds to the wedding breakfast room to capture their reactions as they enter the space. The Banqueting hall was set up beautifully and provided a stunning backdrop for photographs. The speeches during the meal were filled with laughter and happy tears. After the delicious meal, guests were able to enjoy the beautiful spring weather and the picturesque grounds of the venue.
Wedding Portraits
As the sun began to set, it created a beautiful light for wedding portraits on the venue’s lush lawn and amidst the stunning views. As I captured the couple’s love and connection, they relaxed and enjoyed the intimate moments.
Cutting Cake and Wedding Party
The couple cut their cake and placed it on a stand next to the staircase in the main hall surrounded by clapping guests. They then had their first dance, followed by a great party. One of the highlights of the night was capturing guests having fun taking tequila shots.
