Lizzie and Karan’s Summer Wedding at Bourton Hall, Warwickshire Wedding Photographer
There are a few wedding venues that truly capture my heart, and Bourton Hall in Warwickshire is definitely one of them! Set on the gorgeous Shakespeare Hill, this elegant 18th-century mansion perfectly embodies the Italian Renaissance style, making you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. I’ve had the pleasure of being a Bourton Hall wedding photographer a handful of times, and now it was Lizzie and Karan’s turn to tie the knot in this magnificent place.
From the very first call I had with Lizzie and Karan, I had a feeling their wedding day was going to be something really special. They were so kind, warm, and easy to talk to, and there was just this natural excitement about everything they were planning. It was also really clear that they were surrounded by the most wonderful families and friends, all sharing that same love and energy, which made it even more special to look forward to their day.
The couple had the most incredible day! Their wedding was classic, yet modern, effortless, and amazingly romantic. Bourton Hall was the perfect choice for them, and the weather worked in our favour, meaning we already had the ideal setup for some unforgettable photos.

Eva Murko Photography
Hey there! I’m Eva, a passionate wedding photographer from Solihull, Birmingham. I absolutely love capturing those real, natural moments at weddings across the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire. My joy is to give you a special and personalised wedding experience by creating timeless photos that bring back all the emotions from your big day. I truly believe in the magic of photography to document the beauty and emotions of your wedding day. Let’s create wonderful memories together!

Wedding Preparations
Lizzie was preparing for her big day in the elegant Lady Bourton Honeymoon Suite with her family and bridesmaids. The bride looked ethereal in her wedding dress, surrounded by the most incredible bridesmaid crew who brought such a warm, joyful energy to the morning and were by her side every step of the way. The bridesmaids’ attire paired perfectly with the surroundings, resulting in truly harmonious photos. Given my love for details, I took the time to create a beautiful flat lay while the party was putting on its final touches.
Naturally, on the other side of the mansion, Karan had a more laid-back experience with his groomsman and family, though emotions were through the roof. After all, this was one of the most exciting moments of their lives.

A Beautiful Ceremony in the Chapel
As the guests gathered inside the former Italian-style Catholic chapel chosen by the bride and groom for their ceremony, there was a real sense of anticipation in the air. One of the most unforgettable moments of the day was seeing Lizzie walking gracefully down the grand staircase beside her father, looking absolutely stunning as he escorted her down the aisle. It was such an emotional moment, and you could instantly feel just how much it meant to everyone present.
The chapel looked breathtaking, full of timeless charm and elegance that created the most beautiful setting for their vows. Lizzie and Karan’s ceremony was truly heartfelt from beginning to end, overflowing with emotion, love, and so many meaningful glances between the two of them. It was one of those ceremonies where you could feel every word and every moment so deeply.

Bourton Hall Drinks Reception & Portraits
While their guests were mingling, I whisked the couple away for their portrait session. Lizzie and Karan were naturals in front of the camera, and it didn’t take much to create magic with them. Since the weather was great, I also had the opportunity to experiment with light and capture the true energy of their special day. This is one of the many reasons why I simply love being a Bourton Hall wedding photographer – the possibilities here are endless.

Wedding Breakfast and Speeches
Afterward, we headed to one of my favourite spots at Bourton Hall – the breakfast room. The couple chose white throughout, enhancing the modern setting, while the interiors made us feel like we were in Italy!
What truly stood out throughout the reception was the incredible connection Lizzie and Karan share with their families and friends. There was so much warmth, love, and genuine appreciation in every interaction, and it was incredibly special to witness and capture. The speeches were heartfelt and emotional, filling the room with both laughter and tears, while the food was absolutely amazing and enjoyed by everyone around the tables.

First Dance and Party Time
It didn’t take long for the couple’s party to join in on the photo fun! For me, this was the ideal moment to capture some candid images – I especially loved when the girls brought out their parasols and all the vibes.
Everyone had a ton of fun during the party time, and the positive energy didn’t stop for a single beat. Of course, for a couple as grand as Lizzie and Karan, they had to have an unforgettable cake cutting and their first dance. Their family and friends got on the staircase and showered them with confetti, while they shared a romantic kiss in the middle of the hallway. Undoubtedly, this was the moment of the entire day!
