Are you planning an intimate city wedding? The Hotel du Vin Birmingham is a wonderful choice. This historic wedding venue is located in Jewellery Quarter the heart of Birmingham, England, featuring original architectural elements such as a grand staircase and granite pillars. The venue has a combination of vintage charm and modern amenities, providing a secluded, intimate setting for city weddings.
Hello! My name is Eva and I am a professional wedding photographer based in Solihull, Birmingham. I specialize in capturing candid, natural moments during weddings in the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire. My goal is to provide you with a unique and personal wedding experience and to create timeless images that transport you back to the emotions of your special day. I believe that photography has the power to truly capture the beauty and emotion of your wedding day.
I truly enjoyed the opportunity to photograph this lovely intimate city wedding, particularly the excitement of the morning preparations, and the delightful inclusion of the couple’s beloved dog.
The ceremony took place in an elegant room filled with unique features. The bride was breathtaking in a strapless mermaid gown, which gave her a sleek and beautiful look. The groom looked dashing in a tuxedo with a purple waistcoat and tie, complementing the bride’s vibe. As the bride joyfully walked down the aisle, the guests couldn’t help but admire her and relish the ceremony.
Bridal party photos
The bridal party was a photographer’s delight. The bridesmaids and groomsmen’s looks perfectly matched and had a great time during the photoshoot.
Wedding Breakfast and speeches
The courtyard of the hotel provided a picturesque setting for the wedding breakfast, with its contemporary and modern look. The speeches, filled with emotions, were made even more special as the best man composed and played an original song for the newlyweds. It was the perfect location to celebrate their special day in the heart of the hotel.
Despite the rainy day, we managed to find a window of opportunity to capture the couple’s portraits and the Hotel du Vin’s external beauty, adding a city vibe to the photos. It was an absolute joy to work with these two, they were so relaxed and so in love. It was impossible not to have fun with them.
First Dance and The Party
The Pub du Vin Birmingham, located in the former Cellar Bar underneath the Hotel du Vin Birmingham, provided the perfect cozy setting for the first dance and the reception party. The intimate atmosphere made for a fun-filled and great tunes-fueled experience for all the guests.
