Located close to the charming town of Solihull, Hogarths Hotel is a historical gem and the perfect spot for a magical wedding. I recently had the joy of photographing Sharon and Sunny’s summer wedding, marking my second time capturing love at this venue, conveniently just a quick 10-minute drive from my home. Surrounded by 27 acres of woodlands, Hogarths offers a romantic setting with all the comforts you could wish for. The venue’s ‘Kissing Bridge’ and The Island, a unique ceremony spot within the wooded grounds, add to the magic. The Garden Suite, with its lush views, provides a bright and vibrant space for the perfect wedding celebration.

Wedding Preparations

Sharon’s morning wedding preparations were all smiles and excitement in her lovely home. Her mom and sisters were there, helping her get ready. When I first saw her, she already looked amazing. We got her into the stunning dress, and her sisters took care of the veil while her mom helped with the earrings. After snapping some beautiful portraits, I also took a few family photos where I met Sunny, the groom. He was rocking an elegant suit, and we captured some shots with him and the groomsmen. One of the highlights was grabbing some photos of Sharon and Sunny together before the ceremony, capturing their love in those sweet intimate moments.

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place at a charming wooden house on The Island, decorated by cherry trees and overlooking the lake. Guests gathered beneath the wooden structure, creating an intimate atmosphere. It was heartwarming to see Sharon’s excitement as she looked around at everyone. As the sun made its appearance, a violinist played, adding a touch of magic to the moment. The ceremony was truly lovely, with heartfelt vows and the exchange of rings. I could feel the unity as the two families came together, warmly welcoming Sharon and Sunny as part of their own. It was a beautiful celebration of love and togetherness.

Wedding Photography Portraits and Wedding Reception

Following the ceremony, I whisked the newlyweds away for some portraits, exploring the scenic spots around The Island. We captured stunning moments by the lake and on the charming Kissing Bridge, with the couple glowing in the summer light. After savoring canapés and drinks, we smoothly transitioned into family photos and cake cutting. The couple, beaming with happiness, hopped into their classic car and drove off to enjoy their wedding breakfast. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories.
