Warwickshire Farm Wedding | Esme and Will

When I first met Esme and Will at their engagement shoot on their farm, surrounded by friendly animals, I had a feeling their wedding would be unforgettable. Little did I know, it exceeded all expectations. Their Warwickshire farm wedding was nothing short of epic. With 300 guests, it felt like a lively festival filled with laughter and joy. The wedding took place in a vast field, with a stunningly decorated marquee ready to welcome everyone. Despite moody skies and rain, nature gifted us with rainbows, sunshine, and a breathtaking sunset. Leaving that magical place was the hardest part.

I truly believe in the magic of photography to capture the beauty and emotions of your wedding day. Let’s create some wonderful memories together!

Wedding Preparations

When I arrived at the Warwickshire farm in the morning, I found Esme getting her makeup done, with her bridesmaids and mom lending a hand. It was a bustling scene, and I got to capture some beautiful shots of Esme’s stunning dress and all the little details. What made it even better was the house being filled with adorable furry friends, which as a big dog lover, I absolutely adored. Later, I popped over to the house next door where Will, the groom, and his groomsmen were getting ready. The energy was high, and I enjoyed capturing Will’s preparations for the big day. But my favourite moment of the morning preparations was when Esme had her bride’s reveal. It was pure joy capturing the emotional reactions of her loved ones. She truly looked stunning.

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place in the woodland part of the farm, with Esme arriving in an SUV and her bridesmaids arriving in a classic Landrover. What made it really fun was that each bridesmaid walked down the aisle with a dog on a lead. It was such a beautiful ceremony, and during it, Will surprised everyone by singing a song that everyone joined in on. After they exchanged vows and rings, they made their way out from the woodland, and people lined up for the confetti toss. It was a long line with lots of confetti flying everywhere, making for some fantastic photos.

Wedding Photography Portraits and Family Photos

Before the wedding portraits and family photos, we had moody skies and a bit of rain, but soon enough, the clouds cleared, and everyone could fully enjoy the outdoor festival vibes. I could sense it was going to be a lot of fun. A special surprise awaited the bride and groom: a dove release symbolizing Love, Purity, Unity, and Devotion. After this touching moment, I took the newlyweds for a short walk to capture their portraits with stunning backdrops, including the marquee in the background.

Wedding Breakfast and Speeches

Oh boy, I knew the speeches were going to be amazing! Everyone shared laughs, and the energy was sky-high. The atmosphere was super relaxed as we enjoyed a beautiful meal in the beautifully decorated marquee. It truly felt like a feast to remember.

Wedding Chill and Cake Cutting

After the bride and groom cut the cake, the real chill vibes kicked in. Everywhere I turned, there were perfect moments for photos. Laughter filled the air as people enjoyed themselves, hanging around, playing cricket, or simply savoring their drinks. I captured many candid shots of everyone having fun and soaking up the relaxed atmosphere. With the sun setting beautifully, I seized the opportunity to take Esme and Will for another round of photos, adding to the magic of their special day.

First Dance and Party

As Esme went off to change her dress in a terrain car to prepare for the first dance and party, more evening guests arrived, filling up the marquee with buzz. After the first dance, the dancefloor quickly filled up, and the real party began. The atmosphere was incredible, especially when the most amazing saxophonist joined the dancefloor, making it an epic celebration that nobody wanted to end.
